You have heard the phrase, "it takes a village to raise a child."

Well, in this case, it takes a village to run a running club. Did you know that IERC is run completely by volunteers? It's true. None of the Board of Directors, pace leaders, or coaches are paid for their time and they spend countless hours during the year to assure you have an excellent training experience as an IERC member. The organizational chart below shows our operating structure and club members serving in key roles for the organization. In addition to these individuals, others assist us as pace group leaders, putting out the water stations each week, promoting the club to local media outlets, and serving as park ranger guarding our belongings while we are out training, among other duties. If you would like to get involved more with the club, just let one of the Board members know. There is always more room for additional volunteers.
